The stones are collected from the neighbouring mountains for the Lodge Lake Çıldır’s construction with stone masonry

As much as the encircling cultural and geographical richness, Lodge Lake Çıldır is itself worth seeing as a building. A stone cutting atelier was built on-site just for the use of Lodge’s construction, and tons of rocks dug out from the neighbouring mountains were cut one by one. The main building of the Lodgewas built with those rocks with stone masonry. The design and construction are credited to the architect-sculptor Sait Rüstem and stonemason İbrahim Aydın with his team. Its “eclectic” body consists of Baltic architecture widespread in Kars alongside with tints from the Far East and Seljuk architecture. For example, the stained-glass windows contain Seljuk designs
